Power Grid Corporation of India Field Engineer Recruitment Qualification Criteria:

Vacancy wise Information:

• Field Engineer: 1543

Age:

The maximum age limit for all posts including Field Engineer (Electrical/Civil) and Field Supervisor (Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Communication) is 29 years. The age will be calculated as on the closing date of application

OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 Years
SC, ST Candidates: 5 Years
PwBD (UR/ EWS) Candidates: 10 Years
PwBD (OBC (NCL)) Candidates: 13 Years
PwBD (SC, ST) Candidates: 15 Years

Education:

• Field Engineer (Electrical): Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical or equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.

• Field Engineer (Civil): Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.) in Civil or equivalent discipline from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks.

• Field Supervisor (Electrical): Full-time Diploma in Electrical or equivalent discipline from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. with or without Diploma will not be considered.

• Field Supervisor (Civil): Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. with or without Diploma will not be considered.

• Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): Full-time Diploma in Electrical/Electronics & Communication/Information Technology or equivalent discipline from a recognized Technical Board/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks. Higher technical qualifications such as B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. with or without Diploma will not be considered

Power Grid Corporation of India Field Engineer Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of a Written Test and an Interview. The Written Test will include a Technical Knowledge Test and an Aptitude Test, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.

 

Salary:

• Field Engineer (Electrical): Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/-

• Field Engineer (Civil): Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000/-

• Field Supervisor (Electrical): Rs. 23,000 – 1,05,000/-

• Field Supervisor (Civil): Rs. 23,000 – 1,05,000/-

• Field Supervisor (Electronics & Communication): Rs. 23,000 – 1,05,000/-
