South Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment Qualification Criteria:

• Apprentice: 904

Age:

The minimum age required for applicants is 15 years, and the maximum age limit is 24 years as of August 13, 2025. Candidates must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years on this cutoff date to be eligible.

Education:

The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognised Board and also possess National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/State Council for Vocational Training (NCVT/SCVT).

South Western Railway Apprentice Selection Process:

The selection will be based on merit and an interview. Candidates will be shortlisted according to their academic performance or relevant criteria as specified. Shortlisted applicants will then be called for an interview, and final selection will be determined by their performance in both the merit evaluation and the interview.
